The scores are used by Indian PSU’s for the entry-level positions across the country. Entrance Exams for Civil Services

The Civil services in the country are mainly categorized into three groups mainly All India Services, Central Services, and State civil services. The selection to these positions is open to graduates who appear for Civil services Examinations conducted by the UPSC. the state counterpart by State Public service commission respectively. The examination is a rigorous competitive examination for recruiting candidates to the position of Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police service, and Indian Foreign Services among others. It consists of three parts mainly the Preliminary, Mains and Personality Interview. Combined Defence Services is a nationwide examination for recruitment of candidates to Indian Military, Naval and Airforce Academy. Conducted twice a year in the months of February and November, the test is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
