CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam Notification

UGC NET online submission of forms has been started from 6^th March to 12^th April 2018. UGC NET 2018 exam notification has been released by CBSE. UGC NET exam will be held on 8^th July 2018. It is an offline exam. CBSE UGC NET is the eligibility test for the posts of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship. Junior research fellowship awardees can be eligible to pursue research in their postgraduate from IITs or other countrywide organizations. These candidates are also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Universities and colleges of India. This exam is generally conducted once in a year.

 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: – Master’s from any recognized university with at least 55% marks. The qualifying exams must be passed in subjects like Computer Science, Electronic Science, Humanities and Social Science etc.

Age Criteria

1. Maximum Age Limit is 30 years for the post of Junior Fellowship.
2. No age limit for the post of Assistant Professor.

Relaxation: – 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and PWD category candidates.

Application Fee

1. General: – Rs 1000/-
2. OBC: – Rs 500/-
3. SC/ST/PWD: – Rs 250/-

1. Adhaar Card is necessary to apply for UGC NET 2018.
2. Candidates who wants to apply for UGC NET 2018 need to fill the application form online only at the official website of CBSE NET i.e. Cbsenet.nic.in.
3. Mode of payment of application fee is through credit card, debit card or e – challan. Application who are submitting fee through e-challan ought to make the payment in cash to Syndicate/ICICI/Canara Bank.
