EPFO RECRUITMENT 2019 – APPLICATION PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only mode to apply is through online and candidate can choose to do so by June 25.<\/p>\n

SCHEME OF EPFO ASSISTANT EXAMINATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Examination for the post of Assistant is conducted in 2 phases<\/p>\n

i) Phase I – PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Negative Marking: 1\/4th of the mark assigned to that particular question.<\/p>\n

ii) Phase II-MAINS EXAMINATION
\n<\/p>\n

\n*Note<\/span><\/p>\n

I. Phase \u2013I is merely for qualification and the marks shall not be considered in the final merit.
\nII. For each wrong answer, there shall be a penalty of 1\/4 points.
\nIII. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times
\nthe number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase- I.
\nIV. If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various
\nsessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in
\nthe difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions.
\nV. The marks obtained in Phase \u2013 II will be considered for final selection.
\nVI. Similar to the Preliminary there shall be a penalty of one-fourth of the
\nmark assigned to that question.
\nVI. The descriptive paper shall be online and the candidates shall type the answers using the keyboard. The descriptive paper shall follow immediately after completion of an online objective test of Phase-II Main Examination.<\/p>\n

CUT-OFF SCORES EPFO ASSISTANT EXAM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cut-Off scores in Phase I and Phase \u2013 II shall be decided on the sole discretion of EPFO.<\/p>\n

PROCESS FOR EVALUATION OF SCORES<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cut-offs shall be applied Cut-offs in two stages:
\na.Scores obtained in individual tests
\nb. Total Score<\/p>\n

RESOLUTION IN THE EVENT OF A TIE<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the event when more than one candidate scores the equal aggregates marks in Phase-II, the tie shall be resolved through the following methods in sequential order.<\/p>\n

i) Date of Birth, with older candidates, placed higher.
\nii) Alphabetical order in which names of the candidates appear.<\/p>\n

THINGS NOT ALLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Banned items:- Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, pen drive, laptops,
\ncalculators, wrist watches or any other communication devices or pen\/pencil,
\nwallets\/purses, belts and metallic wears including ornaments etc., are strictly NOT
